Corporate Bonds

Buy corporate bonds from full-service brokers. A discount broker may not have the bond you want and therefore may have to go to a dealer, who will include a markup of the bond. Then the discounter adds on a commission before selling you the bond.
Most full-service brokers can eliminate the dealer markup and sell you the bond for less, if they have it in inventory.
