I saw an ad the other day to lease a used car. What do you guys think?
Dealers are being flooded with used cars from expired leases. Now they're leasing them as used cars. We'd prefer that you lease a new car if you're able. But if you're in the market for a used car, it's easier to qualify for a used car lease than a used car loan. When leasing a used car be sure you:
- Get at least a two-year limited warranty
- Are charged the same interest rate as with a new car lease
- Only sign a two-year lease
- Find a used car with less than 45,000 miles on it.
All the major car manufacturers have leasing programs for used cars. Call or stop by your local dealer to see if they're leasing used cars, too. Happy hunting!
