I’m divorced and getting child support from my ex-husband, in an amount based on the fact that his annual income is about $100,000 while I’m making only $26,000 a year. Now my ex wants to change careers, to do something that will pay much less. Help!

You need to see a lawyer again, and you might have to take your ex to court. A court is likely to rule that if a person chooses to lower his income, his assets should become available for support. It is critical that you show in court that his loss of income was voluntary.
