I have been flabbergasted by the riots that took place all over England.  I couldn't help but watch the coverage as one would a traffic accident as you drive by. 

Couple that with the flash mobs in the U.S. that descend on retail businesses and strip store shelves of goods before the police can arrive and it's hard not to believe that we are approaching some very dark days.

If you think the London riots can't and won't happen in our country, you're going to be very surprised in the not too distant future.

In listening to some BBC sound bites from rioters I might have found myself laughing if it wasn’t so horrible.

Two young women when questioned said that they were merely taking what was theirs "from the rich" while another claimed she was getting back her tax money.

From the look of the "tax payer" you would be hard pressed to believe she has ever in her young life paid a nickel, or should I say shilling, to the Crown.                 

We are watching in real time these days what can only be called Class Warfare.

Someone has more than you... just take it.  Someone has been successful through hard work... don’t emulate them... steal from them or destroy their property so that no one will have anything.

Britain has a large welfare society.  The Labour Party was in power for 13 years and raised public spending to record levels which, when the global economic crisis hit became utterly unsustainable.

So now the Conservative Party is being forced to "clean up the mess" and for this they are being challenged on all fronts.

Add to the fiscal over-spending, the de-fanging of British police through public charges of racism and over-abundant political correctness over the same 13 years and you achieve a neutered police force too afraid and too constrained by "public opinion" to stop the mobs from destroying private property and businesses.

Does any of this sound familiar?  This is the template that the U.S. has been working with for a long time now.  And as you see, this template can end very badly.

From cries of "tax the rich" to the demonization of capitalism to having a nation of dependents on government, we are sowing the same seeds, my friends.

It is just a matter of time before we see the same thing happening at home... coming to a city near you.
