Just Asking...Can Congress Write Legislation that WORKS?

On Thursday, a Republican workforce committee passed a bill that would bar the government, via the NLRB (the National Labor Relations Board), from dictating to companies where they can do business.

This was in response to the Boeing/South Carolina problem.

This bill is called the "Protecting Jobs From Government Interference Act.''

If you ever needed proof that most bills passed by Congress turn into many-headed Hydras, full of unintended consequences, here's your proof, folks.

The NLRB, a creation of Franklin Roosevelt, is just such a Hydra.  It was created during the Great Depression years to spur employment--and history shows how well that worked out!

Instead of passing a bill to tie the NLRB's hands, why not just vote to DE-FUND the agency?

Or better yet, if you insist on MORE legislation, Congress, why not pass "The Protecting AMERICANS from Government Interference Act?"

JUST ASKING...
