Buy local produce

Buying local produce will almost always be cheaper than transported goods at your grocery store. The price of gasoline, packaging, handling, etc. are all extra costs that are passed along to you.

Check your community paper and local bulletin boards for information on local farmer's markets and visit local produce stands.

Why pay more for produce that may have been lying around in an airport for days...or longer?
