Daria here with a little confession...I’m addicted to Angry Birds. 

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a game app you can download on your smart phone or tablet.

I’m not really a "gadget" person, but I recently broke down and bought an iPhone…

And I LOVE it! 

But I have to say that I was faced with a dizzying assortment of personal finance "apps" (applications) that I can download to my phone for free or a small charge.

So, I set about the task to find some of the best free or very inexpensive personal finance apps for me to download that work on my iPhone and, in some cases, other mobile devices such as the iPad.

Here are six personal finance apps that I believe are worth downloading... plus a seventh app just for small businesses.
