We've recently seen a rash of high-profile folks who were in trouble for underpaying their taxes. It's estimated that tax cheats cost the nation between $100 and $300 billion each year in lost tax revenue. Who makes up the shortfall? Those of us who pay their taxes fairly—that's who.

That means that each household in the nation pays between $1,000 and $3,000 more each year than they would need to if everyone played by the rules.

Shame on you, tax cheaters. You're profiting off the backs of the average taxpayer, and you're hurting your country at the same time.
