Lie #2:
"Portfolio Nirvana - DIVERSIFY!"

This bear market gave diversification a real black eye. In this bear market, no category of investments was spared a mauling.  Despite conventional wisdom, we all found out first hand that there is not necessarily safety in diversity.

To us, these days, the word "diversify" means spreading your money among cash, cash equivalents and guaranteed investments.
