The Dolans provided some really great tips that I use when I do my shopping. However, I did not see any mention of rebate programs and how to use manufacters coupons at grocery and drug stores.

People will be amazed at how much they save by shopping at CVS, Walgreens and Rite-Aid. All of these chains accepts MFR. coupons and they all have rebate programs. CVS advertises particular product and state that when you purchase them you can receive instant Extra Bucks that may be used on your next purachse. For example, purchase Colgate toothpaste for a out of pocket cost of $2.99 and get back $2.00 in Extra Bucks which makes your final cost $.99. Next you can use that $2.00 Extra Buck to purchase another product that also generates Extra Care Bucks (ECBs)and still use a MFR coupon (if one is available for that product) and still earn an addtional Extra Buck. I like your idea Tawana going to CVS. I filled out a simple questionaire and received a $5 off $25 purchase coupon. I also learned that the $1 coupons I print for Cheerios and other cereals (when it indicates any size package), I can get any size, including the individual bowls. When they are $1 a piece, I redeem all my coupons and that means free breakfast. I even redeem a coupon for milk making it a cheap breakfast.
I found refund forms at about.com. I printed forms for dannon+ SC Johnson. I'll wait for the items to go on sale, use a store coupon AND send in the refund.

Dolan...great site...however, Let's not forget the fact that at the wholesale clubs the membership factor. Whenever, I shopped at the clubs I always spent more than anticipated. After learning the hard way, I started picking up alot of my groceries at Walmart..paper goods, cleaning products.. Dollor to dollor they were right up there in price comparisons. And I didn't pay a membership fee. Which if you figured out was you really didn't get that big of a deal minus the membership. COrrect me if I'm wrong. (Staten Island,NY)
