#4: Dust Off Your Resume

Have you touched your resume since you were last hired? Then it's time to dig it out and dust it off. Having an updated resume on hand is crucial, and the best time to construct or revise your CV is when you're still working - not when you're urgently trying to find work.

In the haste to put one together, you'll forget important details or submit one with typos if you're under pressure. Worse yet, you don't want to miss an opportunity that arises suddenly. One other important tip: Do your resume writing at home, NOT at the office!
