My take: Mr. Secretary, since you'll now be overseeing the Internal Revenue Service as part of your duties, please afford taxpayers the same treatment that you just received, i.e., not facing severe consequences for honest mistakes. And, while you're at it, start the simplification of our tax code that even YOU couldn't follow!
