I was very excited to use your calculator but I can't figure out what 1a, 1c, 1d, 2c, refer to as there are not any columns indicating 1a, 1b, etc. please help, thanks, Dave

Same question for me too! I'm going to try to make the numbers a,b,c, equal 1,2,3, for each step and see what happens. However, I think it is important to get clarification and do this important computation correctly!
