With many baby boomers closing in on retirement, companies around the country are looking for ways to lure people with years of experience back to work.
Where are these companies looking? At the online retirement networks which are copping up on the internet.
www.yourencore.com was originally started by Eli Lilly and Proctor and Gamble to find older workers for those two companies. But no longer. Today it has become a recruitment firm for six firms that are members as well as nonmember firms looking for scientists, engineers and project managers.
Seniors4hire.org has attracted 550 employers offering more than 20,000 jobs in financial services, retail, telecommunications and healthcare. That's secniors4hire.org.
www.seniorjobbank.com is another site to check out with job postings in both U.S. and Canada.
So if you want to work, there are companies looking for you, no matter what your age.
