Ken & Daria...
My 529 has been going down the toilet for several months. My daughter is 11. Should I dump it for something safer? I am not comfortable watching it drop with my daughter 7 years away from college.
Thank you so much for the hetlp.

College tuition costs rise faster than the rate of inflation every year. But the good news is that saving for college is getting cheaper.
The mutual fund companies that offer tax advantaged 529 plans are battling one another for your bucks and they realize that by lowering their fees, they may be able to attract your attention.
If you live in Nevada, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or 25 other states, expenses have been whittled down to as little as five-tenths of a percent.
If you live in any of the other 20 states, don't invest in your state's plan with out first checking the fees and comparing them with other states' offerings.
You can make the comparison by going online to www.savingforcollege.com.
