Changing Your Cell Phone Number Could Save Taxes

If you're moving out of state for business, schooling, retirement or any other reason, you typically take great care in being sure to change bank accounts, brokerage accounts, medical records, licenses and mailing addresses and all other items from your daily life.

But while all this is being done, one thing seems to remain constant for all too many people - their cell phone.

Since most of us are taxed at twice the rate on our cell phones, as just about every other goods and service, if you've lived in a state with a high cell phone tax and move to a state with a cheaper tax, your cell phone should change too.

Taxes on cells are highest in Nebraska, Washington state, New York, Florida and Texas, with 18.72% in Nebraska and 15.13% in Texas. Nevada is cheapest at 1.09%.

So when you move, move your cell phone too!

Yeah it is a great advice. Unfortunately sometimes I am forgetting to do that, but huge bills remind me about that :)) Oh and thanks for this list of highest cell phone taxes having states, it will definitely help me a lot. But I am wondering why they are not able to do the same taxes in all states.. Maybe it is only a dream. Thanks for the interesting article and I will be waiting for more nice ones from you in the nearest future.

Sincerely,

Brad Dellson from mobile development
