You've heard it before, but let me say it again. Getting to the airport early is an important first to making your trip as pleasurable as possible.
At busy travel times waits at airport security can be as long as 30 minutes or more.
If you don't plan for this, you could find yourself running for a plane.
To speed up your screening time, wear slip on shoes, it's so much quicker to get in and out of them and you won't be jostled trying to tie your laces, or worse, leaving them untied and possibly tripping or falling.
As you place your bags and purses on the conveyor belt, keep them in sight at all times. If you become separated from purses and briefcases it becomes easier for someone to pick them up, whether by mistake or design.
If you're traveling with someone else, have your travel partner gather all your belongings together on the other side of the magnetometer.
Stay focused - unfortunately petty thieves don't take a holiday from stealing things. We want you to arrive at your destination with all your belongings.
That covers the basics. But if you’re interested in getting more travel tips, clicking here now.
