Here's a travel tip for those of you who are heading to the airport.
If it's at all possible, avoid connecting flights. If weather or some mechanical problem delays your start you could miss a connecting flight and you're likelihood of jumping on a later flight could be diminished.
If you must use a connecting flight, book one with a long layover, say two hours. Those 30 to 40 minute connections leave you no room for error. How much better off you'll be having to kill an hour or more in a strange airport than rushing to catch a connection that left three minutes before you arrived at the gate.
Sprinting through overly crowded airports is darn near impossible.
To while away the time, bring a book or a read or put fresh batteries in that MP3 player so it's sure to work when you need it.
Also remember to pack plenty of snacks. Long lines at airport food counters may be too long for you to wait.
That covers the basics. But if you’re interested in learning more about travel, you can do so by clicking here now.
